ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU INAUGURATED AS PRESIDENT
The oath of office was administered by the chief justice of the federation Hon Justice Olukayode Arowoola.
He is the 16th president since 1960 when Nigeria gained independence and the 5th since the nascent democracy started in 1999 after many years of military rule.
The president in his inaugural speech said that his government will take proactive steps to remodel the economy for development.
He said that the daunting challenges facing the country can be conquered beyound economic improvement if the citizens allow the diversity of the country to be on positive direction.
The inauguration was attended by dignitaries and government delegates from within and outside the country.
