The maiden edition of convention for royal fathers in the country organised by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) held Friday and Saturday at the Redemption City, Lagos - Ibadan expressway, Ogun state.
The event tagged "The Ever Reigning King" was moments of praises, prayer and declaration of scriptures.
Posting videos and pictures of the event on his social media handles on Saturday, the General Overseer of the RCCG Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye said that “Royal Fathers across Nigeria gathered at the Redemption Camp Yesterday and Today for their Convention with the Theme: The Ever Reigning King. Our Lord Jesus is the king of kings and Lord of Lords, so it is only proper to align with him".
“It is my prayer that everything our Royal Fathers have lost, The Ever Reigning King will restore unto them in Jesus name.” he wrote on the posts.
The RCCG General Overseer alongside Ooni of Ife and some kings also marked the epoch making event with cutting of the royal convention cake.
